A 2.5 Hour Guided SUP Tour

Learn to SUP and Explore the stunning Coastline of the Lizard

£35 PER PERSON

No Experience necessary

Part of Nolwenn's Hen Weekend in Cornwall and near the accommodation on the Trelowarren Estate.

Starting at 10.00am on Saturday 6th May, 2017

The SUP Tour will leave Porthallow (Joining Instructions)

This is a great way to start your Stand up Paddle adventures and explore Cornwall.  No experience is required and the tour is suitable for anyone who is water confident and reasonably fit (able to walk a mile easily).

The Tour

After a short shore briefing, we'll get you on the boards and help you to find your feet.  Once everyone is in control and smiling we'll head off in search of adventure, looking for historic landmarks and wildlife, having a little play along the way and enjoying the stunning backdrop.

There may be some challenges to test your balance and falling in skills, which will be caught on camera (with your consent).

We will pick a route that suits the conditions, moving at a pace that suits the group and taking regular breaks on historic quays or on secluded beaches.  We will pick a beautiful spot to take a break and enjoy the view before heading back.

Once changed there's time for reflection.

The Practical bits

Once you click on Book to be A-Board we'll send you an invoice for direct payment.

There is a small voluntary charge for parking on the beach.  It helps the upkeep of the beach and village.

The price includes a Guide, Paddle Board, paddle and a leash. (It excludes a wetsuit which can be hired near your holiday location)

Photos will be taken on the tour and will be provided to the group.

A dry bag is provided for valuables (though we recommend no electronics).

WHAT TO BRING?

  • Bring a wet suit and an old windproof jacket.
  • A warm hat and gloves if you feel the cold.
  • On your feet, most people prefer to SUP bare foot, but some wear old trainers or wet suit boots.  The launch site is stony.
  • A drink
  • A Towel and change of clothes
