August Bank Holiday Great SUP Conditions

Suggested Self Guided Paddles

More details of launch sites and routes are available on request or Places to Paddle.

Saturday - Light southerly winds lessen from late afternoon.

All of our suggested launch sites will be great, though the South Coast may have a little wind chop and the North Coast some small swell, which isn't easy for  beginners.

St Ives, Porthminster Beach and Carbis Bay There are a lot options depending on your experience from return trips to messing about near the beach.

Loe Beach to Malpas  Village Leave a vehicle at one end and take a picnic for a stop at Roundwood Quay or stop at the Halwyn via their jetty.

Sunday - Very light northerly winds. Rain until lunch and clearing (Maybe!).

All locations will work.

Pandora Inn why not wait until the weather clears (there's some contradictory information on this!) and launch from Loe Beach or Mylor Harbour Public Slipway and head to the Pandora for Tea.

Monday - Light northerly moving westerly and sunshine

All locations will provide great paddle experiences.

Crantock - There's the National Trust Car Park or try riding the tide down from the Newquay boating lake, enjoy a play in the sea and on the beach and ride the tide back at the end of the day.  Water levels and start times need to be considered.
